Dont upgrade if you like your library

Like another reviewer, would not have upgraded had it been made clear up front that any issues bought more than 12 months ago, would no longer be available in the app upgrade. Is it possible to restore the old version?
Love this magazine and its a horrible loss of a few years of digital editions and many saved/bookmarked pages.
Stopped buying the print magazine to build a virtual library and save space at home. This is making me reconsider going back to print.
Was getting ready to re-read all of the old holiday issues and favorited pages for baking and decorating inspiration. All gone.
